Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Irakli Lolashvili, an individual developer based in Georgia ("Orrey", "we", "us") for use of the Orrey app and orrey.app. By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Orrey.

1. What Orrey is, and what it is not

Orrey calculates an astrological chart and a Destiny Matrix from your birth details and writes daily guidance around them, partly using artificial intelligence.

Orrey is for entertainment, reflection and self-exploration only. It is not advice, and you must not rely on it as a substitute for professional judgment. In particular, nothing in the app is:

• medical, psychological or health advice — for any health concern consult a qualified clinician;
• financial, investment or tax advice — no reading is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything;
• legal advice;
• a prediction of actual future events.

Decisions you take after reading anything in Orrey are yours alone. If you are in crisis or considering harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line immediately — this app is not a source of help in an emergency.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 13 years old (16 where your country requires it) and able to enter a contract. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Give us accurate birth details: the entire product is calculated from them, and inaccurate details produce a chart that describes someone else.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. This permanently erases your account and its data and cannot be undone.

3. Orrey Plus subscriptions

Orrey is free to use with limits. Orrey Plus unlocks tomorrow/week/month/year horoscopes, every tarot spread, unlimited conversations with the guide, the full Destiny Matrix and timeline, and features added later.

Auto-renewable subscription terms

• Plans and price: Monthly and Annual. The exact price, currency, and any introductory or free-trial period are shown in the app before you confirm, and depend on your App Store region.
• Payment: charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Renewal charge: taken within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
• Managing and cancelling: in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period.
• Free trials: any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple. Requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
• Price changes: we will notify you and obtain consent where Apple or the law requires it before a higher price applies to you.

Fair-use limits on AI features

Written guidance is produced by an AI provider that charges us per request, so each plan carries a monthly allowance measured in AI tokens: trial (a period of expanded access when you first join), standard (the free tier), and Plus. Allowances are shown in the app and may be adjusted with reasonable notice. If you exhaust your allowance, AI-written features pause until the period resets; everything computed on your device — your chart, matrix, scores and deterministic readings — continues to work.

We may apply reasonable rate limits and take action against automated or abusive use.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our source code, prompts, or API keys;
• access the service by any means other than the app, or automate requests;
• resell, redistribute or present Orrey's output as a professional service to others;
• submit content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing, or attempt to make the AI produce such content;
• attempt to defeat usage limits, subscription checks, or security controls;
• upload another person's personal data without their consent.

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these rules, or where required by law.

5. AI-generated content

Written interpretations are generated by a large language model. Because of how such models work:

• output may be inaccurate, inconsistent, or occasionally nonsensical;
• two similar questions may produce different answers;
• the underlying numbers — your chart, matrix values, scores, and arcana — are calculated deterministically on your device and are not invented by the AI.

You may use your own readings personally, including sharing individual cards. You may not represent AI output as fact, as professional advice, or as human-written.

6. Intellectual property

Orrey, its design, code, artwork, tarot illustrations, written content and the arrangement of the astrological system in the app are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your birth details remain yours. By submitting them you grant us only the licence needed to operate the service for you.

7. Third-party services

Orrey relies on Apple (sign-in, payments, notifications), Supabase (hosting and authentication), Anthropic (AI), Google (optional sign-in) and Mapbox (maps). Your use of those services through Orrey is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their availability or acts.

8. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features. We aim to give reasonable notice of significant changes. Nothing here guarantees uninterrupted or error-free service, and the app requires an internet connection for AI-written content, sign-in and maps.

If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orrey is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any reading is accurate, complete, or predictive.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and consumer rights that cannot be waived are unaffected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Orrey or from decisions taken in reliance on it. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EEA or UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings there.

Before starting formal proceedings, please write to support@orrey.app so we can try to resolve the matter.

13. Terms required by Apple

These terms apply to your use of Orrey on Apple devices, and the following are required by Apple:

1. This agreement is between you and us only, not with Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Orrey and its content.
2. Licence scope: the licence granted in section 6 is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.
3. Maintenance and support: we are solely responsible for it. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Orrey.
4. Warranty: in the event of any failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Orrey, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our sole responsibility.
5. Product claims: we, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims relating to Orrey, including product liability, failure to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or similar claims.
6. Intellectual property: if a third party claims Orrey infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
7. Legal compliance: you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Third-party terms: you must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Orrey.
9. Third-party beneficiary: Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce them against you.
10. Contact: questions, complaints or claims should be directed to support@orrey.app.

14. General

If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about Orrey.
